Simparica Chewable for Dogs - Flea and Tick Treatment

Simparica is a flavored chewable tablet to prevent flea and tick infestation in dogs. It works quickly to control infestations and remains effective for 35 days, a little more than a month. It kills fleas and ticks and can be used as a treatment for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD). The chewable is effective against Sarcoptic mange, eat mites, and demodicosis. It starts killing the fleas within 3 hours and ticks within 8 hours of administration. It can be given monthly and is suitable for dogs of all sizes.

Simparica contains Sarolaner as active ingredient, which affects the nerve cells that send messages. It causes hyperactivity in these neuromuscular cells, which leads to the death of insects or acarines. Thus, controlling parasites and keeping your pet protected. It is suitable for dogs older than 8 weeks of age that weighs at least 2.8 lbs.

Direction for use

• Weigh your pet to choose the appropriate dosing
• Can be given orally, directly into the pet’s mouth, or mixed with food
• If given with food, ensure the whole meal is finished for the complete dosage
• Treatment should be carried out monthly

Dosage:

Administer minimum dose of 0.91 mg/lbs of bodyweight.

For dogs weighing more than 132 lbs, a combination of tablets should be given, consistent with the recommended minimum dose.
