Nuheart - Generic Heartgard for Large Dogs

Nuheart is a monthly heartworm prevention treatment for dogs. It restricts development of larvae into adult worm, which protects your dog from infestations and diseases spread by it. Nuheart is the generic version of the popular ivermectin brands, which works similarly, but is available at more affordable prices. This meat flavored tablet is easy to give, and available for all sizes and breeds of dogs apart from collies and other herding dogs. It is safe to use for puppies which are older than 6 weeks of age. Before starting with the treatment it is recommended to get your dog checked for heartworm infestation.

Ivermectin, Pyrantel

Direction for use

• Administer directly or mix with a small amount of dog food.
• Give in a manner that encourages the dog to chew the treatment.
• Administer orally, preferably on the same date of each month.
• Administer the first dose within 30 days after the dog’s first exposure to mosquitoes.
• Give the last dose within 30 days after the dog’s last exposure to mosquitoes.
