Vectra 3D – Flea and Tick Treatment for Dogs

Vectra 3D is a newly formulated treatment that repels multiple parasites including mites, fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, sand flies, and lice for dogs and puppies. It is a potent fast-acting topical solution that prevents all life stages of flea from developing and removes fleas that cause Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD) and anemia.  Vectra 3D eradicates ticks that cause Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain fever, Babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis, Bartonellosis, Hepatozoonosis, and Anaplasmosis. This monthly treatment is non-greasy and waterproof, so it will keep protecting your pooch even in water. It is suitable for puppies as young as 7 weeks and above 3.3 lbs.

Vectra 3D for Dogs

Vectra 3D contains active ingredients like Dinotefuran, Permethrin, and Pyriproxyfen. These are strong insecticides that repel bugs while paralyzing certain and killing others. Pyriproxyfen stops the development of eggs and larvae into adult life stages; together with dinotefuran and permethrin these compounds drastically reduce the number of ticks within 24 hours. Vectra 3D eliminates fleas within 12 hours of administration and prevents future infestations.

Ingredients

Dinotefuran, Permethrin, and Pyriproxyfen

Direction for use

• Use one applicator per dog
• Remove the applicator tube from the package
• Keep your canine in an upright position for easy administration
• Hold the tube upright, pointing away from the face
• Place the thumb and index finger around the applicator tip under the large disk
• With the other hand, get hold of the applicator stem above the smaller disk
• Press the smaller disk down firmly until both disk meet, piercing the seal
• Start applying the solution from the base of the tail, all the way up to the shoulder blades
• Repeat every month or so, as advised by your vet

Dosage

• The minimum recommended dose is 6.4 mg dinotefuran/kg body weight
• 6 mg pyriproxyfen/kg body weight
• 6 mg permethrin/kg body weight
