Popantel for dogs is a convenient, safe and efficient, multi-wormer treatment for dogs that protects against all major gastrointestinal worm infections. The oral tablet treats and controls various intestinal worm infections including tapeworms, roundworms, and hookworms. Popantel worming tablets for dogs are safe to use in all dogs including puppies, grown dogs, and pregnant canines.

Pyrantel (as embonate), Praziquantel

Direction for use

• Weigh your dog to choose the appropriate Popantel dosage.
• Fasting is not necessary when administering Popantel on dogs.
• Popantel should be given directly by mouth and should be rounded to the closest ¼ tablet.
• The standard recommended dose of Popantel for dogs is 1 tablet/22lbs bodyweight.

Dosage:

• For roundworms and hookworms: Treat at 2, 4, 8, and 12 weeks of age and at every 3 month thereafter.
• For whipworms: Treat every 6 to 8 weeks after 3 months of age.
• Pregnant and lactating dogs: Treat at mating, before whelping, and every 3 months thereafter.
• Hydatid tapeworms: Administer at every 3 weeks in dogs.
• Other tapeworms: Treat every 3 months.
