Equest Worming Gel for Horses

Equest Gel is a long lasting gel made to deworm horses. It treats all the common types of worms including tapeworm, bots, gastrointestinal worms, and adult stains of strongyles. This worming paste contains Moxidectin, a parasiticide that works against multiple internal and external parasites. It kills the worms by paralyzing them.  This treatment is safe for use in pregnant or lactating mares. It should not be given to foals under 4 months of age.

Direction for use

• Weigh your horse to determine the accurate dosage
• Before the first dose, set the syringe to zero by moving the dial ring to set at first black mark
• Depress the plunger and safely discard the expelled paste
• Calibrated markings are given at every 25kg of bodyweight and 10mg moxidectin
• Adjust the syringe to set the appropriate dosage
• Turn the dial ring until the left side is aligned with the weight of the animal
• Insert the syringe into the horse’s mouth and deposit the paste at the base of the tongue
• Immediately raise the horse’s head to ensure that the paste is consumed

A single oral dose of 0.4mg moxidectin/kg bodyweight

Safety
