Cazitel Plus Tablets for Dogs

Cazitel Plus is a pork-flavored worming tablet that is formulated to protect your dog from common intestinal worms including hookworms, roundworms, tapeworms, and whipworms. It contains 3 active ingredients- Praziquantel, Pyrantel Embonate, and Febantel. These compounds kill the eggs, larvae and adult intestinal worms.

It treats all the mixed infections by nematodes and cestodes of the following species in dogs:

Nematodes:

Ascarids: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina (adult and late immature forms).

Hookworms: Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum (adults).

Whipworms: Trichuris vulpis (adults).

Cestodes:

Tapeworms: Echinococcus species, (E. granulosus, E. multilocularis), Taenia species, (T. hydatigena, T. pisiformis, T. taeniformis), Dipylidium caninum (adult and immature forms).

Direction for Use:

• Weigh your dog(s) before administration
• Mix the tablets with food or administer it directly into the mouth
• Give the Cazitel tablets to puppies at 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks and then every month until 6 months of age, after which give every 3 months
• Whipworms can be treated every 6 to 8 weeks after 3 months of age
• Tapeworms can be treated every 3 months
• Dogs in the areas prone to Hydatid Tapeworm should be treated every 6 weeks

• 5-2 kg (1.1- 4.4 lbs) – ¼ table
• 3-5 kg (6.6- 11 lbs) – ½ tablet
• 6-10kg (13.3- 22 lbs) – 1 tablet
• 11-15kg (24.3- 33 lbs) -1 ½ tablets
• 16-20kg (35.3- 44 lbs)- 2 tablets
• 21-25kg (46.3- 55 lbs)- 2 ½ tablets
• 26-30kg (57.3- 66 lbs) – 3 tablets
• 31-35kg (68.3- 77 lbs) – 3 ½ tablets
• 36-40kg (79.5- 88 lbs) – 4 tablets

Above 40kg (88lbs) administer 1 tablet per 10 kg.

Cazitel Plus XL tablets for Large Dogs 77 lbs (35kg)

For large breeds, administer 1 Cazitel Plus XL tablet per 35kg (77lbs) bodyweight.

• 41-45kg (90.3-99 lbs) - 1 Cazitel Plus XL tablet + 1 Cazitel Plus tablets

• 51-55kg (112.4-121.3 lbs) -1 Cazitel Plus XL tablet + 2 Cazitel Plus tablets
• 56-60kg (123.4-132.3 lbs) -1 Cazitel Plus XL tablet + 2 ½ Cazitel Plus tablets
• 61-65kg (134.5-143.3 lbs) -1 Cazitel Plus XL tablet + 3 Cazitel Plus tablets
